UD Almería forward Ibrahima Koné has started on-pitch rehabilitation as he speeds up his recovery. The player spent three months on the treatment table following the surgery he had to undergo for the fracture-dislocation picked up in the friendly between the Malian squad against Uganda during the African Cup of Nations.
His recovery period was estimated between 5-6 months, yet the progress he is making is being really positive and the deadlines could be shortened as it has also happened with striker Luis Suárez and Marc Pubill.
The presence of Koné at the training base exercising on the grass has been the main highlight of this Wednesday's session. The squad are now fully focused on the preps for the Sunday's match against Real Madrid CF in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
The Rojiblancos are determined to boost the good vibes they got on the previous Matchday against Girona FC and with this objective in their minds, they have resumed training.
