UD Almería forward Ibrahima Koné, who picked up a serious injury last Friday evening when playing for the Mali squad during the international break, is undergoing surgery this Monday, around 5pm local time. The player fracture his right ankle and his operation will be carried out in the Ripoll and De Prado Sport Clinic located in Murcia. The operation will last approximately an hour and a half.
Koné has been in the Murcia-based hospital since last Sunday, where he underwent different tests before being operated on this Monday. Club medical services doctors accompany him at all times.
