Kaiky Fernades will play on loan at Albacete Balompié until end of season
The UD Almería central defender will arrive at the second-tier LaLiga HyperMotion club to obtain more playing time in Spanish football
UD Almería and Albacete Balompié have reached an agreement for the loan, without an option-to-buy clause, of talented Kaiky Fernandes until the end of this season in second-tier LaLiga HyperMotion.
The 20-year-old central defender will go down a division to join the La Mancha club, where he will be looking to perfect his football skills and showcase the potential he has got.
Kaiky Fernandes joined UD Almeria in the 2022/23 season, after UD Almería's promotion to the Spanish top flight. The Brazilian player became one of the most notable squad reinforcements, since big teams like FC Barcelona, for instance, were also after him.
His first campaign with the Rojiblancos began promisingly with an outstanding performance against Real Madrid CF on Matchday 1, highlighting his maturity despite his youth. Nonetheless, over time, he did not get many starts. The Brazilian centre-back is well-known for his speed, technical skill and excellent ability to pass the ball.
In addition, Kaiky shows remarkable ability in the aerial game, both in defensive and offensive duels, as was already demonstrated this season in the match against Cádiz CF, where Kaiky scored an inch-perfect sensational strike from the edge of the box.
These qualities, without a doubt, will be demonstrated at Albacete Balompié until the end of the 2023/24 season.
