Juan Villar undergoes physio on the road to recovery

The centre-forward is recovering under the supervision of UD Almeria physiotherapist coordinator Cid Andrade. He’s set for a one-month stint on the sidelines

Juan Villar, the only player in the squad who is injured at the moment, is also taking part in the UD Almería’s pre-season training camp in Malaga. The centre-forward is working on the sidelines under the supervision of the Club's medical services headed by Dr Diego Portugal.

The Huelva-born player is undergoing a physiotherapy treatment and doing exercises in the swimming pool, among other workouts, which are being guided by UD Almeria Physiotherapist Coordinator Cid Andrade, who has also been working along with Juan Ibiza towards a long-term recovery for two seasons.

Juan Villar is doing well in his recovery process, but the 33-year-old will still be out for more than a month. The player is recovering from a muscle tear in his right hamstring, an injury that he sustained during training at the Anexo training base before starting the team’s pre-season in Benahavís and Marbella.
