Juan Guedes Stadium will host the Copa del Rey match between Tamaraceite and Almeria

The club from Gran Canaria has fulfilled all the requirements that the Spanish Football Federation requested for the match.

The Juan Guedes Stadium, where UD Tamaraceite usually plays its games, will definitely be the stage of the Copa del Rey match that will face UD Almeria with this Club of the Canarian Tercera Division. The single-legged tie had a date and time on Thursday, 19thDecember t 8.30 p.m (Peninsular Spain) but the stadium was still to be determined. 

The UD Tamaraceite, which belongs to the neighbourhood called Tamaraceite, is located on the outskirts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and had to meet a series of requirements that the Spanish Football Federation had requested in order to be able to celebrate the encounter in its ground. Once these RFEF conditions were met, the match will take place in the ‘Juan Guedes’ Stadium, name of a famous player of the UD Las Palmas, which also played for the Spanish National Team. 

The pitch is equipped with artificial grass and the capacity of the stadium is around 2,000 spectators, which could be extended with some extra tiers. The Tamaraceite UD, which has former players of the UD Las Palmas, has worked hard to set up their field.
