José Gomes asks his players to transform anger into motivation

Almería, still upset about the VAR decision, are now focused on Tuesday's game in Malaga. This Monday, practice behind closed doors

Almería returned to training after the controversial match played against CD Leganés to focus on Tuesday’s Matchday 32 fixture. Málaga CF will play host to UD Almeria at the La Rosaleda Stadium.

The Rojiblancos were still upset about the VAR decision, but the footballers changed the mindset little by little because the competition goes on. In addition, head coach José Gomes, has asked his players to transform their anger into motivation to try to collect all three points in Malaga and keep looking at the automatic promotion spots. The past remains in the past, despite everything that happened during the game against CD Leganes, now the prime objective for the Indalicos has to be the appointment at La Rosaleda.

The training session was based on active recovery for those players who played more minutes last Saturday, and much more intense for the others, who trained with the yellow ball, which will be the one to play with in Malaga. This Monday, the Rojiblancos will be exercising behind closed doors and on Tuesday, the Almeria travelling squad will set off for Malaga city by road.

José Gomes has the same players available for selection as this past matchday because both Jorge Cuenca and Ramazani continue away on international duty with Spain U21s and Belgium U21s, respectively. On another note, after the match against the Pepineros, there are five players who are one booking away from missing the next game, since Makaridze, Alex Centelles and Juan Villar are now joined by Ivanildo and Morlanes... Rayo Vallecano are to arrive at the Juegos Mediterraneos next Friday.
