Experienced centre-back joins the Rojiblancos on a 2-year deal to strengthen the defence ahead of the 2026/27 season
UD Almería have completed the signing of Jorge Pulido, who becomes the Club's third addition ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The experienced defender follows the arrivals of winger Brian Cipenga, who joined after the expiry of his contract with CD Castellón and striker Miguel de la Fuente, whose permanent transfer from CD Leganés has been completed after the purchase option included in his loan agreement was activated.
Pulido arrives to reinforce the Rojiblancos' defensive unit, bringing a wealth of experience from both LaLiga EA Sports and the Segunda. The 35-year-old centre-back has enjoyed a long and successful footballing career, representing clubs including Atlético de Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, Albacete BP and SD Huesca.
Born in Talavera de la Reina on 8 April 1991, Pulido is 1.86m tall and is renowned for his commanding presence at the heart of the defence. Strong in the air and a threat from set-pieces, he also offers valuable attacking contributions with his goals.
The defender has signed a 2-year contract with UD Almería and will add leadership, experience and solidity to the squad for the upcoming seasons.
