The UD Almería duo named in Spain squad list for title push in Italy this September
UD Almería Women’s stars Jessi and Paqui Campoy will once again represent Spain as the national beach soccer team prepares to fight for continental glory in the final round of the European Beach Soccer Championship, set to take place this September in Italy.
The influential duo continue to be central to Spain’s plans, earning call-ups for the decisive stage of the tournament. Six teams remain in contention, split into two groups of three. Spain will compete in Group B alongside hosts Italy and Ukraine, while Group A features Portugal, Poland and Switzerland.
Spain kick off their campaign against Italy on Tuesday, 9 September, followed by a crucial clash with Ukraine on Friday, 12 September.
The top-two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on 13 September, with the grand final scheduled for 14 September.
