UD Almería Women players Jessi and Paqui Campoy have joined the Spain senior beach soccer squad for the European League Super Final, which will be held in the Italian city of Viareggio.

Both the women's and men's national teams, who will also compete in the same continental tournament, are currently based in the Almeria coastal resort of El Toyo, where the City Council has created a sports complex dedicated to beach sports.

The national teams will travel to Italy on Sunday, 6 September, for the final stage of the European League, which runs from 8-13 September. In the women's competition, where Jessi and Paqui Campoy are expected to play an important role, Spain will face Italy and Poland as they look to book their place in the final.
