Javier Tebas highlights Cristiano Ronaldo’s entry into UD Almería

Javier Tebas has praised Cristiano Ronaldo’s acquisition of a 25% stake in UD Almería. 'It gives the Club significant exposure and adds great value when seeking sponsors and everything that comes with it,' LaLiga President said during the presentation of LaLiga’s economic and financial report for the 2024/25 season. Mr Tebas also highlighted the media impact of Ronaldo’s involvement, noting that UD Almería’s social media following has increased by 25%, placing the Club among the top-5/6 in LaLiga in this category.
During the report presentation, Mr Tebas revealed that total revenues reached €5.464 billion, up 8.1% from the previous season. Commercial income exceeded €1 billion for the third consecutive year, hitting record levels thanks to international expansion and new monetisation strategies.
One of the season’s major milestones was record stadium attendance, surpassing 17 million spectators for the first time. This growth came alongside improved occupancy rates, with 84.5% in LALIGA EA SPORTS and 68.5% in LALIGA HYPERMOTION.
