It’s the time to lay down Almeria’s new tactical plans
Tactical awareness and team spirit on the second day of training camp prior to this weekend's friendlies vs Málaga CF and Cádiz CF
The UD Almería squad are immersed in a very important stage of their pre-season. With practically two weeks to go before LaLiga SmartBank kick-off, the team are laying down their new tactical plans for the championship. Rubi told the Club’s official media that ‘this stage will serve to work on the team’s playing style.’
On the second day in Benahavís and Marbella, which are the two places where the Rojiblancos are laying the foundation for a successful season and its achievements, the tactical plans have once again been the main focus of the training sessions. Now it is time to put these concepts into practice on the pitch against competitive rivals such as Málaga CF (Saturday/ kick-off 7pm) and Cádiz CF (Sunday/ kick-off 7pm) at the Marbella Football Center.
After playing versus SL Benfica in the first week of pre-season and against fourth-tier Segunda Division RFEF Club Atletico Pulpileño and Aguilas FC, new tests are approaching. Málaga CF will be opponents in LaLiga SmartBank next season and they will face each other on Matchday 4, while Cádiz CF compete in the top tier LaLiga Santader. Head coach Rubi, who has all the players up for grabs except Juan Villar, will be able to draw important conclusions.
