‘It was very special to score my first goal for Almería; it has been really exciting’
Largie Ramazani states that he is very proud of the team's performance against Sabadell
‘The truth is that it’s very special to score your first goal for Almería and even more if it’s in injury time. It was really exciting’, was Largie Ramazani's reaction after his performance was key for the Rojiblancos to beat Sabadell in their last league match. ‘I dedicate the goal to my family and the team; they all gave their best to achieve a victory’, he added.
The Belgian footballer will never forget getting off the mark in Spain. In point of fact, the young footballer fully described the play: ‘Fernando took a long goal-kick, Samú crossed in, Sadiq headed at goal and I told Umar ‘look for me’ and that's when I managed to finish.’ He also did it with great calm in front of the goal, a situation that characterises him, he assures. ‘Every time I’m in front of the goalkeeper, in a one-on-one, I relax and trust myself to score the goal,’ he confessed.
Ramazani is ‘very proud’ both of himself and the team.’ In this sense, he reported: ‘The truth is that we played very hard, for a long time with ten players on the pitch, but in the end, we managed to score the goal.’
During the encounter there were several similar plays that enabled the young player to find the right position to score. This was discussed between the scorer and his team-mate Petrovic. Both of them noticed that ‘the defenders weren't too fast’ and Largie's ability could open spaces behind.’
All in all, despite the fact that it was his debut as a starter, Ramazani displayed lot of pace, a factor that he reflected on: ‘Getting those minutes of play on my legs with the second team have given me energy so I managed to feel one hundred percent match-fit.’
