Isa Camacho and Cristina Redondo re-sign for Almería Women

The two players earned promotion to Primera Nacional with the very first UD Almeria Women squad built

Isa Camacho and Cristina Redondo return to UD Almería Women to bring experience to the Rojiblancas team. Both players were part of the squad during the first year of the team's existence in the 2018/19 season. Both girls were undeniably important pieces in the team roster puzzle that achieved promotion to Primera Nacional, the third level of league competition for Spanish women's football.

Isa Camacho plays as a central midfielder being an essential link between defence and attack. She took her first steps in the world of Spanish football at AD Huércal. A campaign later, she joined the Atlético Benahadux ranks for three seasons. Isa signed for UD Almería Women eventually.

As for Cristina Redondo, her main position is centre-back and was also one of the first signings made by the Indálicas squad in the past 2018/19 season, after spending four years at Atlético Benahadux. She embarked on her footballing career at Sporting School of Carboneras, based in the town where she was born.

Both of the girls have been out of competition during the last season due to personal reasons such as employment and further studies. UD Almería Women and the two players have reached an agreement to re-sign and fight together to achieve the team’s goal competing in Primera Nacional.
