Iñigo Eguaras makes official debut wearing UD Almería shirt
The latest UD Almeria signing entered the pitch from the bench in the 80th minute. Juan Villar is back on his feet. Sadiq could return this Thursday
Latest UD Almeria signing Iñigo Eguaras made his official debut wearing the Rojiblancos’ shirt when he was lined up by head coach Rubi in the final stretch of the match played against SD Eibar at the Mediterraneo; the midfielder walked out onto the pitch in the 80th minute, shortly before the rivals doubled their lead (0-2).
Eguaras joined UD Almeria’s training for the first time ever last Saturday. Although he comes from playing for Real Zaragoza, he needs some time to adapt to his new team and get to know his team-mates.
On the other hand, Juan Villar is back at it after recovering from the muscle injury that prevented him from starting the Spanish Cup tie against Elche CF; the forward was included in the starting XI, but he suffered some discomfort during the pre-match warm-up and could not make it in the end. It looks like head coach Rubi begins to recover players and in the next few days the return of Sadiq is also expected; after Nigeria exited the African Cup of Nations, the striker is likely to arrive next Thursday. In addition Lazo, Carriço and Dyego Sousa are nearing the end of their respective recoveries.
