Almería-born goalkeeper Iker Martínez, who plays for UD Almería U16 'B', has been called up to the Spain Under-15 squad for a training camp at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, Madrid, from 12-15 October.

Spain head coach Hernán Pérez has named 26 players for a series of training sessions as the national side prepares for its upcoming international fixtures at this age group. The UD Almería youngster, who is developing through the Rojiblancos' Academy, takes another important step in his footballing career with this call-up.

While Iker Martínez heads off on international duty, other UDA Academy players are returning to the Club. Youth-team players Ramón Martos and Víktor Lesjak have been away with the Republic of Ireland and Montenegro Under-19s respectively.

Martos featured in several friendlies at a tournament in Slovenia, where he produced an outstanding performance and caught the eye of the coaches in attendance. As well as playing a leading role in the Republic of Ireland's attacking play, he scored twice, finding the net against Qatar and Slovenia.
