Despite there is a long way to go in terms of preparation, Iván Balliu, who kept a conversation with UDA Radio, did not hesitate to share his thoughts that the team members are ‘well, motivated’ and, above all, determined to achieve the goal for the 2020/21 season. ‘I think the team footballers are on fire. This year, we have high quality players. I hope and trust that we can become the best version of ourselves very soon, hopefully in our opening game in Lugo’, he added.
The right-back expressed his opinion that the head coach, José Gomes, is adamant that working on ‘pressure and possession’ is a vital part of the game. This is a situation that led the Catalan footballer to point out that ‘the players who have just arrived, have that profile’, so that he considers that the adaptation of his new team-mates will be easier.
