Alberto Lasarte: Today has been a hard blow, but we'll bounce back

The UD Almería interim coach made it clear that despite the three-all draw, the team is going to be where they deserve to be soon, although he said that he was not happy today

UD Almería interim coach Alberto Lasarte sat down with the media in the Power Horse Stadium press room after the three-all draw with direct rivals Granada CF and gave an initial assessment: 'It was difficult for us to get into the game, but we knew how to be ourselves after that time.' In addition, he added: 'The injuries have taken their toll and the stoppage-time has been a Russian roulette when either team were close to scoring, but they did in the end. 'I'm not happy though,' he regretted.

Despite letting a commanding 3-0 lead at the end of the first half slip away, the UD Almería 'B' head coach, who is now at the helm of the senior team on an interim basis assured: 'The future of the Club looks good, we'll bounce back. We have to be calm. Today has been a hard blow, but the team will be where they deserve to be, for sure.'

To bring his post-game press conference to an end, Mr Lasarte expressed his heartfelt feelings about UD Almería: 'I'm more than grateful to the Club and I'm honestly sorry for not being able to give the fans a victory today.'
