Thousands of fans applaud UDA Academy and Foundation youth ranks
The 8 UDA Academy youth sides and the three UDA Foundation women’s sides were honoured at half-time on their league runs this season
The UD Almería vs Elche CF match was a suitable occasion to applaud the UD Almeria Academy and Foundation youth ranks, who showed up on the pitch at half-time to receive a standing ovation from thousands of fans.
The Power Horse Stadium hosted 11 teams of UD Almería young talents who are following a well-trodden pathway to professional football. There are 8 UD Almería Academy youth sides: UD Almería ‘B’, the under-19s ‘A’ -who became the Spanish Cup U19 runners-up this campaign-, under-19s ‘B’, the under-16s ‘A’ and ‘B’, the under-14s and the youngest ones, under-12s. In addition, three women’s teams belong to the UDA Foundation: the senior team who compete in the Primera RFEF, the ‘B’ team and the under-16s.
All the players and their backroom teams were applauded by thousands of fans.
