Head coach Rubi put his match-fit players to their paces

There is a myriad of absences over unfortunate injuries as well as international call-ups. This Friday, last training session of the week

The pause of the LaLiga competition over the international break has arrived with UD Almería coping with a large number of absences in daily training; the Rojiblancos' backroom staff have tried this week to focus on both defensive and offensive tactics, but with a reduced number of players. Not only many players are now away on international duty with their national teams but, in addition a good number of footballers are taking advantage of this week to continue with the rehab plans to get fighting fit again.

This Thursday, the team has completed a different session which has been more fun than tactical. Different tasks have been carried out to promote team spirit and some games have been played in which the friendly atmosphere has stood out. All this before this Friday's behind-closed-doors sesión which will be the last practice of a completely atypical week and where the most technical-tactical concepts will take centre stage.

Meanwhile, 'the team behind the team' continue to conduct individual training sessions through talks and video inside the Stadium.

The squad will be free this weekend and the players will turn their attention to Matchday 7 at 10am on Monday at the training base. The next up are Athletic Club de Bilbao, who will be hosting the Rojiblancos at 'La Catedral', nickname for the San Mamés Stadium.

Head coach Rubi fervently hopes to recover most of his troops in a bid to get back to normal; albeit, the players who have joined up with their national teams on international duty will return one by one throughout the week.
