Álex Centelles: 'We must go all out because they'll make it difficult for us'
The UD Almería player spoke on UDA Radio about the difficulty of the last fixture against CD Tenerife: 'The transformation that makes them stronger.'
Álex Centelles has played so many matches during his professional footballing career that he's clear about what awaits UD Almería this Sunday: 'Every team are eager to do well because they're defending a crest and a jersey. It'll be a very tough game, but with our fans and the momentum we've gained, we're approaching it with absolute confidence,' he explained in an interview on UDA Radio.
The UD Almería defender also pointed out what's at stake: 'We have a lot to play for in just 90 minutes. We've had a lot of good times and bad times this season, and it's never easy to reach the play-offs. Only 4 teams make it to the play-offs. We're going to give everything to get that victory that will allow us to get in and do so on the right foot.'
UD Almería earned the right to rely on themselves on the previous Matchday: 'We knew it was going to be a tough match and that we had to match their intensity and that's what we did. Although it's not our trademark, the gaffer has asked us to know how to suffer and to bring the intensity we've been showing and this team dynamic will give us confidence in the match against CD Tenerife,' he argued on the Club's official radio station.
The key is non-negotiable: 'We must go all out because, I repeat, they'll make it difficult for us. If we add quality and intensity to this, we'll be doing well.'
Finally, UD Almería's morale is significant for this final match: 'The Segunda division is what it is, and everyone knows its complexity. We value the play-offs and we've managed not to see it as a negative; if we win this weekend, the team dynamic would be positive for us to be a dangerous team.'
