The Rojiblancos' head coach is aware that the situation is complicated, but he assures that 'this has a solution, we aren't going to let anyone fall and we aren't going to give up at any time
UD Almería head coach Gaizka Garitano spoke to the media in the press room of the Power Horse Stadium after the last-minute bitter defeat suffered against UD Las Palmas. 'It's a hard moment, but we have to move on. It's been a cruel defeat, but all we have to do is keep working, there's no other way,' he explained as he shared his post-game thoughts.
Regarding the development of the match against the Canary Islands outfit, the Basque Country native made it clear: 'UD Las Palmas usually have possession of the ball in all their matches, but we cannot concede those goals with so many players behind the ball. They only reached the box with danger three times and scored twice... I'm very concerned about the defence inside the area,' but he stressed later: 'We've improved a lot in the second half, in the first we were not comfortable, but in the second, we found more spaces and it went better.'
'Of course this has a solution, we aren't going to let anyone fall, we're still in October and the team has a lot of room for improvement,' he said. 'I knew I was coming to a team in a very complicated situation, but we aren't going to give up at any time,' Mr Garitano concluded.
