Gonzalo Melero kitted out as Rojiblanco

The Madrid-born midfielder joined the UD Almeria travelling squad on their trip to Valladolid. Embarba and Milovanović make League debut

Gonzalo Melero, one of the last signings made by UD Almería in the recent summer transfer window has already joined the UD Almería squad and now works together with his team-mates although he has done it on the sidelines due to some muscular discomfort.
The 28-year-old former Levante UD footballer went to Valladolid in order to watch the match; he joined his new team-mates in the dressing room and has already travelled with the UD Almería travelling squad from the city of Valladolid to Almeria so as to begin his journey as a Rojiblanco. As mentioned above, the player has some muscular discomfort and was in the medical room, while this Tuesday, those who got the most minutes in their legs in Pucela worked out at the gym. The rest of the group trained more intensely on the grass of the Power Horse Stadium.
This Wednesday will be a day off duty for the squad before resuming work on the Anexo training ground at 10am this Thursday. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the training sessions will be delivered behind closed doors at the Power Horse Stadium.
On a side note, Embarba and Milovanović made their League debut with UD Almería; the first of them took a leading role since during the time he was in action, he created danger and showed off his footballing skills. With the arrival of Gonzalo Melero, Rubi has his squad completed although the head coach cannot count on everyone due to injuries. Centelles, who has already served his one-game ban, Eguaras and César de la Hoz have sprained their ankles. Rodrigo Ely had to be taken to a hospital in Valladolid over his nasal septum fracture that occurred when colliding with a rival when the defender was about to finish off with a header after a corner-kick was taken.
