Games coming thick and fast over Easter for Almeria

Fixtures are coming thick and fast over Easter yet again. Almería will have to play three games in just six days as LaLiga has decided and announced the specific dates and kick-off times of Matchdays 31, 32 and 33, in which the Rojiblancos will face Leganés (at home), Málaga (at La Rosaleda Stadium) and Rayo Vallecano (at home), respectively. This last match, which will be played on Friday, is also a handicap for the interests of UD Almería, since their international players will arrive just in time as they play for their national teams on the same week.

RCD Mallorca and Rayo Vallecano will also have six days to play their three games, while RCD Espanyol and Sporting de Gijon will have nine days and Leganés eight days.

Before this hectic week of competition, UD Almería will host Alcorcón at the Juegos Mediterráneos Stadium next Monday, 15 March and then visit SD Ponferradina on Sunday, 21 March (2 p.m. CET).

After that, the demanding week for Jose Gomes’ men is to kick off on Saturday, March 27 with the match versus CD Leganés on home soil (kick-off 6:15 p.m. CET). Neighbouring side Malaga CF will be hosting the Indalicos on Tuesday, 30 March, and Rayo Vallecano will make their trip to the Mediterraneo on Friday, 2 April (kick-off 9:00 p.m. CET). The first of these Easter matches, will be broadcast live on pay-per-view Movistar + Vamos, while the other two will be screened live on free-to-air Sports Channel Gol.

After the meeting with SD Ponferrada, Sadiq joins the Nigeria national team so the striker will be out of action against CD Leganés and Málaga CF. The goal-machine play in the Kingdom of Lesotho on Tuesday, 30 March, and is expected to land just before the game on Friday, 2 April against Rayo Vallecano. Meanwhile, Cuenca and Morlanes have been shortlisted for Spain Under-21s and both players are likely to be on international duty in Slovenia on 24/27/30 March.
