Fierce intensity; the highest degree of motivation

It is the final countdown! Almeria are about to start the play-off for promotion to the LaLiga Santander. The Rojiblancos will play the semi-finals on Thursday against Girona and on Sunday are hosting them at Juegos Mediterraneos. They are the back and forth matches with which Almeria want to get to the grand final against the winner of the other tie, Elche versus Real Zaragoza. 

After several weeks of continuing uncertainty, now is the moment of truth. The players are training with maximum intensity and also have the highest motivation because the goal of promotion is within arm’s reach of the Southern team and they do not want to miss this excellent opportunity. The week of the play-offs kick-off has just started with Almería getting together at Gran Fama Hotel. 

The Rojiblancos are hitting the gym for specific workouts while in the afternoon they exercised at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. They will have two more training sessions both on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead before travelling to Girona in a matter of three days. They will fly charter and will get back in Almeria as soon as the match is finished so as to start preparing themselves for Sunday's meeting at home.
