Fernando chosen November’s LaLiga SmartBank best player
The Rojiblanco goalkeeper receives the award in the early stages of Saturday’s match against Real Zaragoza
UD Almeria goalkeeper and captain Fernando is to collect November’s LaLiga SmartBank best player award. He was nominated together with forwards Sergi Enrich from SD Ponferradina and Enric Gallego from CD Tenerife. His goalkeeping won him the most outstanding LaLiga player award in the past month. The award will be handed out in the early stages of Saturday’s game against Real Zaragoza at Juegos Mediterráneos.
The Murcia-born has featured in five games against Sporting de Gijón, Burgos CF, UD Ibiza, Real Valladolid CF and SD Huesca. Fernando put in brilliant displays this season like the rest of his team-mates, but apart from that he is making great saves to help UD Almería get huge points.
