Expectations are soaring ahead of this Sunday’s international friendly between UD Almería and Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr FC, set to kick off at 7pm (Spanish Time) at the UD Almería Stadium. The highly anticipated clash will be Al Nassr FC's only appearance in Spain this pre-season and the buzz is palpable with 70% of the Stadium’s capacity already sold and several days still to go.
Tickets remain available via tickets.udalmeriasad.com. Until Wednesday, UD Almería season-ticket holders were offered a special price of €10. Any remaining seats from this allocation have now been released for general sale.
The event promises more than just top-tier football. Urban music sensation and Almería native RVFV will take the stage during half-time, adding to the evening’s entertainment along with other surprises planned by the hosts.
This summer clash is the final pre-season test for UD Almería before they officially kick off their campaign on Monday, 18 August against Albacete Balompié on Matchday 1. It also offers fans a chance to catch a glimpse of the Club’s newest summer signings in action.
For Al Nassr FC, who began their pre-season in Austria before continuing preparations in Portugal, the match in Almería marks the end of their European tour. The team featuring global stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Beto, João Félix, Sadio Mané, and Marcelo Brozović — will then travel to Hong Kong to compete in the Saudi Super Cup between 19–23 August.
