Javi Muñoz and Leonardo Lelo, the two latest UD Almería arrivals during the recent summer transfer window, were among the many changes made to Xavier García Pimienta's starting XI against Cádiz CF.

The Madrid-born midfielder spoke to UDA Radio, the Club's official radio station, after the final whistle and said: 'I'm delighted to help the team. That's what I came here to do'.

The new UD Almería player explained: 'We were really eager to put in a great performance and pick up the 3 points after 2 consecutive defeats. The truth is that we played very well in the first half, although there are things we need to improve in the second, such as putting together longer spells of possession'.

The midfielder also revealed: 'Despite only being here for a week, I've adapted really well', before adding: 'I like getting into the final third and I've had two chances. The first one went straight at the goalkeeper, but I was able to score with the second'.

Javi Muñoz also emphasised: 'We're a very good team and at home with our fans, we must make ourselves strong'.
