UD Almería will travel to Tenerife on Saturday ahead of Sunday's 9:30 pm match against another newly-promoted side, although CD Tenerife are a traditional name in professional football and began their campaign with a 1-3 win in Eibar
With barely any time to catch their breath, the UD Almería squad return to training on Tuesday following their victory over CD Eldense. The training session will focus on recovery before turning their attention to their next league opponents, CD Tenerife, whom the Rojiblancos face this Sunday at 9:30 pm (Spanish Time) at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium. Training will take place at 10am at the Anexo ground.
Wednesday will be a rest day for the UD Almería players, who will return to training at the Stadium on Thursday to focus fully on the Tenerife side.
Like CD Eldense and Sabadell, who will also host UD Almería on Matchday 3, CD Tenerife are newly promoted. However, they are a well-established name in professional football and only spent one season in third-tier Primera RFEF, making their superiority clear in their group from the opening day through to the final match.
The Rojiblancos will train on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the squad also travelling to the Canary Islands on Saturday.
