UD Almería will take a break before beginning preparations for their next league fixture, which takes them to Córdoba on Saturday for another Andalusian derby
The UD Almería squad will have a recovery training session on Monday following Sunday's 3-2 victory over Cádiz CF. Those who played fewer minutes in the match will have a more intensive work-out on the Anexo grass. Tuesday will be a day off, giving the players a chance to recharge their batteries before returning to the thick of things and beginning preparations for the next league battle.
Training will resume at the UD Almería Stadium on Wednesday, with further sessions scheduled for Thursday and Friday as the team prepares for another Andalusian derby. UD Almería will travel to Córdoba on Saturday, with kick-off at 9pm (Spanish Time). 3 training sessions will be used to get the Rojiblancos ready and aim for their first away points of the season after consecutive defeats on the road against CD Tenerife and CE Sabadell FC.
For the next league fixture, UD Almería head coach Xavier García Pimienta will welcome back Thalys, who has completed his 4-match suspension, while Sergio Arribas remains a doubt. The only confirmed absentee is Gui Guedes, who is continuing his recovery from the meniscus injury he sustained.
