Andrés Fernández: 'We're frustrated because we came here to win'
The UD Almería goalkeeper stated that 'there are 3 matches left, we'll now focus on beating UD Las Palmas and then we will see what happens.'
Andrés Fernández was a key player in the match played against Burgos CF as his saves prevented the opposition from scoring, which could have been a major setback for the team's ambitions. The nil-nil draw is not satisfying, not at all and in this regard the Murcia-born keeper admitted that 'we're frustrated because we came here to win. We knew it was a difficult ground, that it's hard to score against them, but we had our chances. At least we picked up a point.'
The UD Almería goalie had plenty of work at El Plantío stadium even though the opposition, as he said 'does not usually create so many chances.'
Mr Fernández added: 'We'll now focus on beating UD Las Palmas, another direct rival in the fight for promotion, we play at home with our fans and then we'll see how things stand. There are 3 matches left and nothing is decided yet.'
