Enzo joins the rojiblanco battalion in Almeria

First training session with his new team-mates in a very short week

UD Almeria are preparing ahead of the match against Racing de Santander. On this occasion, the latest signing made in the January transfer window, Enzo Zidane, has joined the side. The French footballer has completed his very first training as a new rojiblanco player. Since early morning, Enzo met his team-mates, was taken on tour around the stadium facilities to start getting used to his new workplace and exercised with the rest of the team in the Anexo. Enzo and José Carlos Lazo have known each other since they played in the Real Madrid Academy; the two players greeted one another enthusiastically as they keep a good friendship. Once Enzo was welcomed and given a guard of honour, it was time to turn their attention to the next game. The meeting corresponding to matchday 27 of the Smart Bank League, will take place on Friday.

Working hard means you are working towards a powerful goal with complete focus. That’s exactly what José María Gutiérrez’s side are doing this week. There are only a few days to go before the next encounter and the team are already training hard to improve their weaknesses and build on their strengths. Almeria will have to make the most of these training sessions before the game.

Francis, one of the latest transfers, was also in the Anexo training ground but following a specific workout plan since he is still recovering from his injury. In this regard, Corpas has participated in the first part of today’s training with his colleagues, so he is definitely on the mend.

The side are training on Wednesday at 10.30 in the Anexo training ground.
