UD Almería Stadium set for decisive league showdown

Extra parking opened as promotion race intensifies ahead of Saturday clash with UD Las Palmas

The UD Almería Stadium will be the centre of attention this Saturday as it hosts one of the most decisive matches of the LaLiga Hypermotion season. Kick-off is at 6:30pm (Spanish Time) with the penultimate home fixture against UD Las Palmas carrying huge importance in the battle for promotion.

UD Almería head into the match in 3rd place, level on points with second-placed Dépor and still firmly in the race for automatic promotion to the top flight. Their opponents, UD Las Palmas, sit 5th and are also aiming for the same target, although their direct route is more difficult.

Excitement around the fixture is huge, and another large crowd is expected, continuing the strong attendances seen throughout the season and especially in recent weeks as the campaign reaches its climax.

The city council and the Club have advised supporters to use public transport and arrive early. A new parking area with 370 spaces has been opened on Algazul Street, opposite Patatas Salcedo, to make up for reduced parking at the fairground, where a circus is currently located. The usual Stadium parking next to the preferred stand will also remain open.

The match will also be widely televised, with several broadcasters showing it live. LaLiga TV Hypermotion, Gol Play and Televisión Canaria will all broadcast the game, although the real atmosphere will be inside the stands of the UD Almería Stadium.
