The pride of being a UD Almería Player
LaLiga Genuine Moeve squad enjoy another unforgettable experience in Granada alongside the first team
The UD Almería Foundation’s LaLiga Genuine Moeve team experienced another memorable weekend during the third stage of the 2025/26 season, held at Granada CF’s training complex. A total of 26 clubs took part in the event, bringing together more than 500 players, who were divided into the groups of Fair Play, Respect and Teamwork.
This initiative, promoted by LaLiga through its Foundation, is designed for people with intellectual disabilities, offering them the opportunity to fully integrate into sport and more specifically football. These Matchdays are about much more than competition, fostering genuine moments of togetherness among players and their families, who attend to support them.
Taking part in this league, along with regular training sessions throughout the season, allows players to feel like an essential part of the clubs they represent. Wearing the shirt of their hometown team is a source of great pride, something clearly felt by the UD Almería squad. During their stay in Granada, they also shared accommodation with the first team, enjoying a unique and inspiring experience together.
From a sporting perspective though results take a secondary role the Rojiblancos Genuine drew both of their matches against CF Fuenlabrada and Valencia CF.
Following the opening phase in Tarragona and subsequent stages in Cádiz and Granada, the competition will conclude with the final phase at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
