The rebuilt UD Almería 'B' squad will have as its main objective promoting to Segunda RFEF. Therefore, both the Club and the coach are creating a squad of young players, whom he knows very well and with a high motivation to achieve said goal.'

 

About this aspect, Alberto Lasarte mentioned: '80% of the UD Almería U19 'A' team will join the 'B' team, apart from the two experienced signings made this summer and another two that remain to arrive.'

 

The gaffer also admits: 'We're going to compete in a tough group,' but he is clear that 'UD Almería 'B' will be great performers at home and we're going to battle it out.'

 

Lasarte did not hesitate to point out: 'We'll try to move up, I have no problem saying so because that's our aim. We have players with great potential and we're going to go all out for it.'
