Mohammed Al-Khereiji attended the match against Racing de Santander, received a standing ovation from the 13,000 supporters who gathered in the stands and celebrated the victory in the dressing room with the players and coaching staff

UD Almería's new President Saudi businessman Mohammed Al-Khereiji made his debut just days after the change of ownership at the Club was announced. The news broke last Friday afternoon and practically 48 hours later, the new leader went to the Stadium to watch the match against Racing de Santander, which ended with a brilliant and highly significant victory in the tight race for promotion to the top flight.

Mohammed Al-Khereiji arrived in early at the UD Almería Stadium, an hour before the kick-off. He toured the facilities, which he had already seen on previous visits and went down to the dressing room to wish the team the best of luck. He was always accompanied by Club Managing Director Mohamed El Assy, Director of operations and organisation Mostafa Yilmaz, board member Ibrahim Ewis and Club's Sporting director advisor, Joao Gonzalves.

Once he entered the Director's box, his presence was announced over the PA system and the 13,000 fans who had gathered at the Stadium responded with a standing ovation. After the match, he returned to the dressing room to celebrate the vital victory with the players and members of the backroom team.
