Testing trip against CD Mirandés on the horizon
The penultimate LaLiga Hypermotion Matchday arrives with simultaneous kick-offs: Sunday, 6:30pm. The Rojiblancos are once again playing against direct rivals and cannot lose to remain in control. Kaiky and Bruno Langa are in trim
Immediately after the match against Racing de Santander, the dates and times for the penultimate LaLiga Hypermotion Matchday were announced. Matchday 41 will see simultaneous kick-offs with teams still have something at stake in the competition. This is the case of CD Mirandés vs UD Almería, which will take place next Sunday, 24 May at 6:30pm at the Anduva Stadium.
The match represents a testing trip for the Indálicos… yet another one because, although they achieved a vital victory against Racing de Santander, they cannot lose in Miranda de Ebro if they want to remain in control.
UD Almería are 4 points away from virtually securing their promotion play-offs spot. They may need fewer depending on the results of others.
The squad had an active recovery training session on Monday and will rest on Tuesday, before getting back to the thick of things on Wednesday and fully focusing on preparing for the match at the Anduva Stadium.
Rubi will have two of the suspended players back in action, Kaiky and Bruno Langa, while Nico Melamed, like head coach Rubi, will have to serve another one-game suspension. Lucas Robertone, who was ruled out last-minute against Racing, is still waiting for a follow-up check-up. The Indálicos will train behind closed doors on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
On Saturday evening, the UD Almería travelling squad will head out to Miranda de Ebro via Vitoria.
