UD Almería Under-19s 'B' are the new leaders of Group XIII Liga Nacional after securing their 8th straight win, a 2-1 victory over Loja. Since their opening-match defeat, the team have been on a perfect run, and now, thanks to Marbella's 1-1 draw with Málaga B, the young Rojiblancos have climbed to the top of the table. UD Almería U19s 'B' will visit Marbella next week in what promises to be a key match-up. However, despite their impressive form, promotion is not an option, as the 'A' team already competes in the División de Honor.
In other news, UD Almería Under-19s 'A' earned a crucial point on the road with a 1-1 draw at CD Mosquito, who have been unbeaten at home this season. Under the guidance of head coach Rafilla, the U19s 'A' are now unbeaten in their last three matches and sit in mid-table, six points adrift of the Spanish Cup U19 qualification spots.
