UD Almería U19 'A' once again awarded 'Juan Oncala' Fair Trophy

The UDA Academy under-19s Rojiblancos achieve a comprehensive victory over Valencia CF U19 in the semi-finals (3-0) and in the grand final hosts La Cañada (1-3) one week before the start of the 'Divison de Honor' league

UD Almería Under-19s 'A' have once again been crowned champions of the prestigious 'Juan Oncala' Fair tournament organised by the 'La Cañada' club with high-level participation, which serves as a stern test for the young Rojiblancos before the start of the 'Division de Honor' league the highest national rank within this tier  prior to the absolute football category. 
 
Next week, the official season kicks off and the vibes are positive. In fact, the youth sude led by head coach Zeus Carmona emphatically beat Valencia CF U19 3-0 in the trophy semis. Houssam and Marco Cobo scored twice. 
 
In the final, hosts La Cañada, who had previously beaten Villarreal CF U19 2-1, faced the lads from Almería, who won 3-1 with an impressive comeback since their opponents were leading the game. 
 
ZafitoHoussam and Marco Cobo were in charge of turning the result around. The tournament has been a stern test for the youth side given the fact that La Cañada will also be 'Division de HonorGroup IV rivals next season.
