UD Almería Under-19s 'A' did not get off a new season on the right foot in the Division de Honor nacional, the highest ranking in this tier at the national level. The lads were defeated by San Félix, who won 0-2 on Matchday 1, in a match that was played at the Francisco Pomedio pitch, located in the town of Huércal de Almería. The Málaga players, who are now a Torremolinos 'B' team outplayed the Academy Rojiblancos who have no time for regrets and do have time to prepare for the imminent match that will see them taking on Granada side Alhendín in this Granada town on Wednesday (Matchday 2).

The UD Almeria Under-19s will try to make amends and redeem themselves for first fixture's loss, which will be essential not only for table purposes, but for confidence and self-esteem since on Sunday, 8th September, they have another match on home turf against one of the greats in the division such as Betis Balompié Under-19s who have just thrashed Calavera 1-5.

Without a doubt, a complicated start to the season for the youth team led by Zeus Carmona, who has to integrate a team with many changes compared to the previous season.
