UD Almería Academy continue to build up its youth squads for the new season. The UD Almería U19 'A' squad have been reinforced with three new summer additions: Valentin Garcia, Luken and Pablo Castillo. Players who move to the Rojiblancos lower ranks and who will be following the instructions given by newly appointed head coach Zeus Carmona.
Valentín García moves to UD Almería U19 'A' from Real Betis to play as a centre-back. Luken comes to reinforce the positions of both winger and midfielder and joins the UDA Academy after wearing the UD Ibiza shirt. Last but not least, Pablo Castillo joins the Indálicos' youth team from Real Valladolid CF and will operate as a striker. His highest scoring campaign was recorded in the past 2021/22 with 12 goals scored for the Málaga CF youth team.
Three different positions that UD Almería U19 'A' reinforce for the upcoming 2023/24 season. The three new arrivals are high-quality signings for a youth team that will seek to perform as well as they did in the previous campaign. UD Almería U19 'A' managed to make it to the Spanish Cup U19 final and finished third in Group IV of the Division de Honor Juvenil tier, but fighting for the first place until the last Matchdays.
It is for this reason that there are many players from other teams who would like to wear the Rojiblancos' jersey after seeing their spectacular last campaign.
