UD Almería U19s 'A' fight for Spanish Cup spot in final Matchday of first half

The young Rojiblancos must secure victory over Arenas de Armilla and rely on other results to qualify for the Spanish Cup U19

UD Almería's under-19 'A' will battle for a coveted spot in the Spanish Cup U19 this Sunday, as the first half of the season wraps up with Matchday 17. To secure one of the 32 spots in the prestigious cup competition, the Rojiblancos need to defeat Arenas de Armilla at home and hope for favorable outcomes across other fixtures.

The match, which takes place at the Francisco Pomedio Stadium in Huércal de Almería, will see UD Almería U19 'A' face the struggling Arenas de Armilla, who are currently in the relegation zone. With both teams at opposite ends of the table, the Rojiblancos are determined to finish the first half of the season strong, but will need help from other results to guarantee qualification.

Real Betis and Granada CF have already secured their spots in the Spanish Cup, leaving 2 or 3 spots up for grabs in Group IV, with the UD Almería youth side in the mix along with several other teams. A tightly contested group means that multiple combinations of results, including a 6-way tie, could ultimately decide the final spots.
