UDA U19s 'A' announce first summer additions
The Academy products, which will continue to count on Rafilla Morales as head coach, will play in the División de Honor tier for another season
UD Almería 'A' U19s, which will play in the highest national league in the division, the División de Honor, for another season, have already made their first signings for the upcoming 2025/26 season. Rafilla Morales will continue to be the head coach.
The summer signings made so far include goalkeeper Koke, from FC Cartagena; centre-backs Diego Sánchez (CD Leganés) and Nacho Rubio (Patacona CF); midfielder César Augusto (San Félix); attacking midfielder Pau Sellés (Valencia CF) and forward Iker Vergara (Deportivo Marítimo).
On the other hand, several players are moving up from UD Almería U19s 'B' in the Liga Nacional. These are the cases of Erik (centre-back), Javi Navarro (midfielder), Ramón Martos (attacking midfielder), Germán (right winger), Denis (attacking midfielder) and Fran (centre-forward).
UD Almería U19s 'A' will be in Group IV of the División de Honor, which is one of the most difficult at this age due to its level of play. It is no coincidence that it includes sides from powerful youth academy clubs in Spanish football, such as Sevilla FC, Real Betis Balompié, Málaga CF yo name but a few.
