UD Almería U19 'A' host CD San Félix at midday this Thursday

The UDA youth talents will play at the Francisco Pomedio stadium in Huércal de Almería with the aim of temporarily leapfrog the group leaders as Real Betis U19 will be competing this weekend.

UD Almería Under-19s 'A' are hosting CD San Félix at the Francisco Pomedio stadium located in the town of Huércal de Almería this Thursday, 6 April for a 12 noon kick-off. Their main objective is to temporarily leapfrog the group pacesetters Real Betis U19s as they will be competing this weekend.

It will not be an easy test for UD Almería U19 'A' as their opponents are currently sitting 8th with 42 points and coming off a good streak. Algeciras took a severe drubbing at the hands of the Rojiblancos' next adversaries through a resounding 6-0 on the last Matchday. Prior to that game, they were defeated by Seneca despite the lads from Malaga had not lost since 22 January against Granada. They have managed to overcome tough rivals on the road such as Cádiz CF U19 and Málaga CF U19, and they are the fourth best team in this second half of the season, only behind Real Betis U19, Seville FC U19 and UD Almeria U19 'A'.

The UDA Academy prospects will have to put in a commanding performance if they want to get all three points. Youngsters Paco Sanz and Torres will sit out the next fixture.

This is the first season in which the three youth sides are  the most evenly-matched atop of the table at this point of the competition. One of the highlights of this campaign for the young Indálicos has been becoming runners-up to Real Madrid CF U19s in the Spanish Cup U19 last month.
