UD Almería U19s 'A' return to action after blank weekend
The Academy products aim to get back to winning ways against CD La Mosca this Sunday
After a week off, UD Almería U19s 'A' are back in action this Sunday at 4pm, hosting CD La Mosca at the Francisco Pomedio Stadium in Huércal de Almería. The Academy side will be looking to bounce back from a mixed start to the season, as they head into Matchday 6 in the national U19 top-flight.
The Rojiblancos’ U19s are currently sitting mid-table with just one win from their first 5 fixtures, though they have only lost once. Their performances have often been better than the results suggest, with several games where they deserved more than they earned. Since their 3-1 victory over Córdoba CF U19s on Matchday 2, they have struggled to secure another win but will see Sunday’s match as an opportunity to get back on track.
They will face newly-promoted CD La Mosca, currently sitting second from the bottom with 2 draws and 3 losses. However, head coach Rafilla is not taking anything for granted and is determined to focus on his own team’s performance, regardless of their opponents' form.
Meanwhile, UD Almería U19s 'B' will travel to face CD 26 de Febrero this Saturday at 5:30pm in what promises to be another competitive encounter for the youth teams.
