UD Almería U19s 'A' will embark on their 19th consecutive season in the División de Honor, Spain's top U19 competition, during the 2026/27 campaign. The young Rojiblancos will once again target qualification for the Copa del Rey U19 which means finishing among the leading teams in one of the strongest youth divisions in Spanish football at the halfway stage of the league season.

The lads will kick off their campaign on Sunday, 6 September, with an away trip to CD Utrera, one of the 5 clubs promoted to the División de Honor alongside At. Melilla, At. Zabal Linense, CF Alhendín and Marbella FC. Relegated from the division were UD Melilla, Vázquez Cultural, La Mosca, Maracena and La Cañada.

The group once again features some of Spain's most prestigious academies, including Real Betis, Sevilla FC, Málaga CF and Granada CF, with whom the youthful Rojiblancos will compete throughout the season. UD Almería U19s' squad has undergone significant changes following last year's campaign, in which they narrowly missed out on Copa del Rey U19 qualification. The youth team has featured in the competition on several occasions, reaching the final in the 2022/23 season.

The changes also extend to the coaching staff with the arrival of new head coach Mateo Villar. Despite his young age, Villar has considerable experience in the División de Honor tier, having previously managed Murcia Promises, leading them into the Copa del Rey U19, as well as Patacona CF and Elche CF U19.
