UD Almería U19 'A' walk steadily towards Spanish Cup U19

UD Almería Under-19s 'A' edged past La Cañada Atlético 1-0 last weekend. It has been 11 wins and 1 draw recorded by the UDA Academy youth sides. The boys coached by Rafilla took a giant step forward towards the Spanish Cup U19. There were around 800 supporters in the stands at the Francisco Pomedio. The Almería derby saw UD Almería U19s 'A' win 1-0 to make it three victories in a row and extend their impressive unbeaten run to 10 games, the last 6 keeping clean sheets. All these successes have fired them to 4th place in the table. Just wow!
The Spanish Cup U19 is contested by the top four of each of the 7 groups of the Division de Honor at the end of the first half of the season and the four best fifths. With three games to go, the UD Almería products are on the right track with full confidence, although they still have to prove it in two difficult outings to Maracena and Marbella, while at home they have to host none other than Sevilla FC U19, who are third just one point ahead.
In addition, UDA U19s 'B' also won at home against Granada CF 'B' U19. The result was 1-0. UDA U16s 'A' got back to winning ways against Córdoba CF (1-2), while Group 'B' drew at home (1-1) with Arenas de Armilla. Next, UD Almería U14s 'A' also emerged victorious away from home against Córdoba CF (0-1), as did Group 'B' at home against Arenas de Armilla (2-0).
The 6 UDA U12s, U10s and U8s youth sides wrapped up resounding victories as they are also at the top in their respective league tables.
