UD Almería U19 'A' to face league double-header at home this weekend
They host Recreativo de Huelva at 12 noon on Friday, 28th (Andalusia Day). CD San Fernando visit the Francisco Pomedio pitch in Huércal de Almería on Sunday for a 6pm kick-off
UD Almería U19s 'A' face a league double-header at home this weekend against rivals who are at the bottom of the table, so the UDA products seem to have a good opportunity to redeem themselves in the competition. And since they failed to qualify to compete in the Spanish Cup U19 tournament, the team's run of results have been getting worse.
The lads sit now 9th in the standings with 35 points, 9 points over the drop zone. 7 return fixtures have been played so far: 1 victory, 3 draws and as many defeats. They have not won the last 5 games so it is time to get back on the winning trail and not complicate things. The absences are also being a handicap since key players have made it with UD Almería 'B' and even with the UD Almería first team, such as central defender Pedro Fidel, who is training regularly with the senior team.
