UD Almería 'B' back at home to face Churriana de la Vega CF

The Academy prospects host the in-form Granada side at the Anexo on Sunday at 12 noon, with their opponents enjoying an upward trajectory in Group IX of the Tercera RFEF

UD Almería 'B' return to home action on Matchday 9 of the Group IX Tercera RFEF season, welcoming Granada-based Churriana de la Vega CF to the Anexo pitch on Sunday at 12 noon.

Following their draw against Atlético Marbella and having learned lessons from letting 2 points slip at home, the youthful Rojiblancos will be aiming to get back to winning ways. A sixth league victory would help them maintain their position among the leading sides, with Pablo Nozal's team currently sitting 3rd in the promotion play-off places.

UD Almería 'B' head coach Pablo Nozal is pleased with his team's progress, although he acknowledges that there is still room for improvement. He is keen to keep refining the finer details of their game to ensure they maintain a consistent upward trajectory.

The gaffer was full of praise for Sunday's opponents, warning that they will be difficult to overcome and stressing the importance of maintaining maximum concentration in order to secure all 3 points.

Mr Nozal highlighted Churriana's strong organisation, the quality of their players and their clearly defined style of play.

The Granada-based side currently sit in mid-table but are looking to climb the standings. They head into Sunday's fixture unbeaten in their last 4 matches, having recorded 2 Ws and 2 Ds. Their 2 most recent draws came against the 'B' teams of Málaga CF and Granada CF.
