UD Almería 'B' visit Recreativo de Huelva on Sunday
The match will be played at 12 noon. Recreativo, currently in the promotion play-off positions, are on a 6-game unbeaten streak. UD Almería 'B' are counting on the contribution of the new arrivals
UD Almería 'B' face a tough and complicated match this Sunday at noon as they visit the oldest football club in Spain, Recreativo de Huelva, at the Nuevo Colombino Stadium. The Huelva side, currently in the 4th play-off position for promotion, are perhaps enjoying their best form of the season. They are unbeaten in six consecutive matches, with four wins and two draws, and have become the third-highest scoring team in the group and the second-best defensively.
With these factors in mind, the match is truly difficult for the UDA prospects, second to last in the standings, 14 points from safety and 11 points from the relegation play-off zone. They have now gone 8 matches winless, although the feeling has been quite different, as they have come close to victory in several of them.
UD Almería 'B' hope that the signings they made in this January transfer window, especially in defence, will contribute and allow the team to turn things around in the competition.
