UD Almería 'B' to face current leaders Marbella FC on home soil

The UD Almería Academy team are looking to secure their play-offs stab against rivals who are going all out to earn automatic promotion to a higher tier.

UD Almería 'B', after facing current second-placed Real Jaén away from home, return to action on home soil to host current leaders of the Group IX of the Tercera Division RFEF, Marbella FC. The opponents are on a great run of results with 7 victories as they have not lost since 29 January against El Palo.

The 'B' team Rojiblancos will go into this match after suffering an unfair defeat in Jaén, but still in play off positions. They are fifth, ten points behind the fourth ranked and only one ahead of the sixth, so a victory for Óscar Fernández's team would help them make their presence known in the table. It must be taken into account that the pacesetters in the group move up through automatic promotion, while the second, third, fourth and fifth will fight the play-offs for promotion.

The match will be played at midday this Sunday on the Anexo ground next to the Power Horse Stadium. Rafa Núñez and Svidersky will miss out as both have been called up by their national youth teams. Rojas continues his road to full recovery.
